While attending "Lunch with the Mayor" today I noticed that Mayor Burchett appeared to be in serious pain. I later went up to the Mayor's office on the sixth floor and inquired on his well being. Chief communications officer Michael Grider told me that the Mayor had an accident on his motorcycle yesterday evening. As a result of that accident he recieved a broken wrist and an injured elbow. He is doing ok at this time. Despite being injured, he attended five events before going to the doctor. The events were: Community Leaders' Prayer Breakfast, Ulta Beauty ribbon cutting, BHS Corrugated groundbreaking, and Lunch with the Mayor.
