I love my job it is a dream job. However, for those following my facebook page last night I got a little depressed. You see when everyday your surrounded by people making powerful decisions, or by people making 6,7,8,9,10 figure paychecks, it kind of humbles the living daylights out of you.
In life their is something called "social value." It is basically the significance of someone and what makes them great. People for example who are surrounded by body guards like politicians or rock stars or country singers or actors or actresses have high social value. Now normally people compare themselves with the people they are surrounded by. Sales people compare their sales to other sales people as an example. But when you compare yourself to literally the most beautiful, the most powerful, and some of the most famous people both locally and in the world you go 'hmmm'...and self doubts kick in.
It is probably the only downfall to my job. Of course you eventually climb out of the funk. At the end of the day the positives are way stronger then the negatives.
