Bill Lockett and his email...EXCLUSIVE!
A couple of months ago, Lockett gave a speech at the Farragut-Concord Republican meeting. I videotaped highlights of the meeting and posted them here on this blog.
During the meeting the attendance sheet with name, address, phone, and email was passed around. Lockett sat next to me and used his county email address. I questioned him about it. He said it was the best way to contact him. I brought up that I could foil his stuff since it is County Email and technically since it was a Republican Newsletter-Event he could in theory be gotten on a technicality of using county resources for political activity.
He said something along the lines of 'that's a technicallity, a very small technicality, I don't think...' I cut him off and said ' Bill your a lawyer, murderers go free on technicalities, and mob members get 20 years on technicalities."
He thought a minute, looked at me and said 'your right, Dan.'
He then crossed his county email address off and used his personal email.

why?
Just got back from CMA Music Festival, which attracts probably more fans then Bonnaroo and is 166 miles away from Farragut and yet all KNS is blabbin about is Bonnarro!

Mike Hammond at tonights West Knox Republican meeting
A packed meeting tonight with Mike Hammond as guest speaker. Even the News Sentinal had Vines their.
Mark started out by talking about a wide range of topics ranging from the Beer Board recently suspending a company 180 days for selling habitually to minors...to topics about take home cars.
He then directly addressed the subject of Bill Lockett. He stated he has had more phone calls, emails, and people interact with him on this issue then any other issue ever including the wheel tax.
Reality, it is up to the legal community and their isn't much that commish can do...
Redistricting in the Cedar Bluff area came up...Hammond then deferred to Dr. Briggs who addressed in detail how he met for an hour with the homeowners president and explained the different proposals.
I then asked if running for a third term with regards to a new position of commissioner violated charter. He stated he had consulted with three different professional legal experts and all stated their opinion that since he didn't run a full term when he first took office, the charter does not apply to his scenario.
However, if it becomes an issue where he is told he cannot run, he will step aside. He stressed the importance of making sure this does not become a negative consequences to the Republican Party!

Brian William's bow down to Obama
At 5 seconds they are so close to each other that they are brushing each others shoulders.
5 seconds notice Barracks smile and the cheeks are up. That is a real smile!
8 seconds hand out thumb up chin down already hand is straight neutral position.
10 seconds williams bows and closes his eyes saying 'I am not good enough to look you in the eyes.'
12 seconds and look good...When Barrack pats Brian Williams on his shoulder he smiles...look at the lines on williams face. His face shows smiling joy.
